Becca served on the Board from 2006 until 2009, when she resigned for personal reasons.

I'm the youngest of four children and grew up not far from my current home. Even as a small child, I am told I preferred to spend my time with those who had Fur and Feathers to those with Skin. However I had many human friends as well.

My father worked for Chrysler and my late mother was a school teacher in the Toledo Public Schools. As we grew up they worked hard to instill in us the desire to pursue the things we truly loved. My Sister Amey became an RN and works for Hospice. Her two boys are grown and working on families of their own. My Eldest Brother Rex, has retired from the Army, and is working as a PA/Profusionist in San Antonio for the Army. Its a good thing they pay him a lot of money, as he and his wife have eight children. My other Brother, Richard and his wife live in the house where we grew up. He works for Cardinal Health Systems in their Nuclear Pharmacy. *chuckles* Are you sensing a theme here? So it seemed only natural that I pursue a career in law (to keep the family out of malpractice). But, before I even began to pursue the education, I realized that "law and I" were not a good fit, so I drifted.

My God Brother and I made a deal about 7 years ago. I was at a bowling alley watching him bowl and massaging his shoulder and arm (he was not having a good game and it always improved his game when I massaged him) when he said "When I own my own Bowling Center, you should come and set up shop and do massages for the bowlers. You could charge them and it would be great." I agreed and said "Sure B, when you OWN your own place I'll do that." Thinking who is going to give a 25 year old kid a Million dollar loan to buy a bowling alley. Well he took over a local bowling alley almost two years ago and I figured when he got the paperwork started to take over I'd better get myself into school. I graduated this spring from Massage Therapy School. I take State Boards in December and then I will be a LMT. Currently (to pay the bills), I work for Walgreens at the Distribution Center.

I am owned by Loki, my Hearing Rottie, and Oberon my Deaf Rottie, as well as the eight felines - Lola, Merlin, Arthur, Mercury, Simon, Tristan, Esmerelda, and Angus. With the exception of Loki, they are all rescued from the streets or the humane society. Oh yes, and Simon is a failed Foster Child. He came to us through some friends of mine who couldn't keep him at the time, but then after a year they wanted him back. But by then it was too late, we were way too attached. So he stayed.

I'm available to speak to most evenings ( I work Midnights, so I'm home in the evenings, and online because I'm a closet geek). I look forward to serving and making this a great organization.
